Terms of service
The rules for using Hoops ClinIQ. Every section starts with a plain-words summary.

1. The agreement
In plain words: By using Hoops ClinIQ you agree to these terms.
These terms are an agreement between you and Hoops ClinIQ. If you use the service for a school, club or team, you confirm you can accept these terms for that organization.
2. Accounts
In plain words: Keep your login safe and your details accurate.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Coaches and directors must be adults. Players and parents join by invitation from a team.
3. Your content
In plain words: Your plays and film stay yours. You give us permission to run the service with them.
You own the plays, film, notes and other content you add. You give us a limited license to host, process and display it to provide the service to you and the people you share it with.
You promise that you have the right to add it, including consent from parents or guardians before you add a minor's data or film.
4. Acceptable use
In plain words: Be a good teammate. No harassment, no scraping, no sharing kids' data outside your team.
Do not use the service to harass anyone, to break the law, to upload content you have no right to, to probe or disrupt our systems, or to share a minor's information outside the team without the required consent.
5. AI features
In plain words: ClinIQ can be wrong. You review it before you rely on it.
ClinIQ proposes answers, tags and drafts. It can make mistakes and says so when it is unsure. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before you use or approve it. ClinIQ does not give medical advice and does not decide whether a player is cleared to play.
6. Plans, pilots and billing
In plain words: Invitation-only preview. Four-week pilot, no card, then a plan or Free. Paid plans renew until you cancel.
Prices are shown on our pricing page. The app is invitation-only while it is in preview. A pilot lasts four weeks with capped AI credits and does not need a card. A season pass is refundable until your pilot starts. When the pilot ends, you choose a plan or the account moves to the Free plan and keeps its plays. Paid plans renew each period until canceled. AI credits are included monthly as described on the pricing page.
7. Ending your account
In plain words: Cancel any time. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.
You can cancel at any time and export your data. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, and we will tell you why when we can.
8. Disclaimers and liability
In plain words: The service is provided as is, and our liability is limited.
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, and then they apply only as far as the law permits.
9. Changes and contact
In plain words: We will give notice of material changes.
We may update these terms and will notify account owners before material changes take effect. Questions go to support@hoopscliniq.com.
