How much does Hoops ClinIQ cost?
Free for one coach. Coach is $12 a month, Team is $29 a month or a $129 season pass, and Program is $99 a month for two teams. Districts are priced by quote. Yearly billing is two months free, and players and parents are free during 2027.

A ClinIQ credit pays for one piece of AI work (1 for a search, 20 for a clip to play), and each plan includes a monthly amount you see before anything runs.

High school runs through the winter, club and AAU through the spring and summer, and fall leagues in between. Pay for the months you coach.

High school season
One $129 season pass covers November through March, tryouts to the state tournament. Paying Team monthly for the same 5 months is $145.
April to July
Club and AAU season
A $129 season pass started in April runs through August: the whole spring and summer circuit, plus a month to wrap up film and study.
September and October
Fall league
Too short for a pass. Team monthly for two months is $58. Coaching all three seasons? Team yearly at $290 costs less than two passes and a fall ($316).

Pilots run during the spring and summer 2027 club season, so we are ready for the 2027–28 high school season. Many schools choose next year's tools between April and August 2027, for budgets that start July 1.

What a credit pays for
A credit is the unit ClinIQ work is measured in. Bigger jobs cost more. You see the cost before you run anything.

- Credit packs: $10 for 500 credits. Buy one when you run out. Pack credits are kept while you subscribe and for 12 months after you cancel.
- Monthly credits reset each month and are spent before pack credits, so packs last.
- The pilot gives you 150 credits. That is enough to try clip to play a few times.
- Free includes 25 credits a month. That covers a clip to play and a few searches, so you can try ClinIQ before you pay. The app is invitation-only while we are in preview.

Do players and parents pay?
Not during 2027. Players and parents are free on any plan, with no ads, even when the coach is on Free. Paid parent extras (highlight downloads) may come later. The coach or program pays. Parents see only their own child.
Who sees what?
Each person signs in to a view for their role. The head coach's view and the player and parent apps come with every plan. Separate views for assistants, the athletic trainer and the team manager (Team and Program), and a program director view across teams (Program), are on the Roadmap for 2027.
Can I sign up myself?
Not yet. The app is invitation-only while it is in preview. Apply for the concierge pilot: we load your plays and tag one of your games by hand, and your staff and players use ClinIQ and quizzes for four weeks. You can use the free play library now with no account. Apply for the pilot.
What happens when the pilot ends?
You choose a plan or drop to Free. Your plays stay, though anything over the Free limit becomes read-only. ClinIQ drops to 25 credits a month. No surprise charges.
What is a credit, and what if I run out?
A credit pays for ClinIQ work, such as a search or a clip to play. Free includes 25 a month. If you run out, buy a pack: $10 gets you 500 credits. Pack credits are kept while you subscribe and for 12 months after you cancel.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly credits reset each month, and they are spent before pack credits. Pack credits do not reset.
How does yearly billing work?
Yearly is two months free on every plan: Coach is $120, Team is $290, and Program is $990 for two teams plus $290 for each extra team.
Is there a season pass?
Yes, on Team: $129 covers any 5 months in a row. Reserve a season pass ($129, refundable until your pilot starts). It includes everything in Team.
Can my school pay by purchase order?
Planned. Purchase orders, a W-9 on request, July 1 fiscal-year billing, booster-club card payment and a sole-source letter are planned for Program and District. A quote PDF and a net-30 invoice are in the app preview as samples; nothing is billed yet. Use the contact page to start. How schools pay.
What is the District plan?
For school districts and large clubs: single sign-on, a signed data processing agreement per district (SDPC National DPA, planned), data residency and rollups across schools (Roadmap 2027). It is priced by quote, so talk to us.
What does full-game film breakdown cost?
It is a film add-on, $15 per game, Coming 2027, and it does not use credits. The per-game price will be tested with pilot programs starting spring 2027. Competitors charge $29 to $38 a game for AI breakdown (SportsVisio overage) and $36 to $84 a game for human tagging (Hudl Assist), as of Oct 2026. A clip reel for one player costs 2 credits in the Film Agent beta, and you see any credit cost before it runs.
Can I collect fees and registration in the app?
Not yet. Registration and payments for fees, camps and clinics are coming in 2027. Keep the tool you use today for those; Hoops ClinIQ does not sync with other apps. See exports.
What can the AI do, and what can't it do yet?
ClinIQ searches your playbook and film and drafts scouting reports with citations. Clip to play and photo to play are in beta and draft a play you fix; clip to play is not yet tested on real amateur footage. Suggested tags need your review. Full-game automatic stats and tracking from one phone are not available yet. We publish accuracy only after we measure it on real games. What ClinIQ can and can't do yet.
Is there a price for a whole school?
Yes. Program covers 2 teams and adds a yearly price for each extra team. Purchase orders are planned. Our athletic directors page compares it with separate film, stat and play tools. For athletic directors.
