What is Hoops ClinIQ?
Hoops ClinIQ is coaching software for basketball staffs. It does three things: a playbook with animated plays, player study with assigned plays and quizzes, and ClinIQ, an AI assistant that cites the play, clip or stat behind every answer. Coaches record games on a phone in the app. Paid plans start at $12 a month. Pilots start in spring 2027.

Does Hoops ClinIQ work with Hudl or other apps?
No import and no sync. Hoops ClinIQ is its own platform: record or upload your basketball film here, keep Hudl for football, and take your playbook, scouting reports and calendar with you.

Kids first, by design
No data about a player on your roster is shown or used until a parent or guardian agrees. Game film can show opponents and non-consented players; that film stays staff-only. No ads. No medical records. Parents see only their own child. Planned: each team's data isolated in the database, with AI acting only with the permissions of the person who started it.
Common questions
Do I need all five parts?
No. Start with the playbook. Player study, ClinIQ and film switch on when you need them, and they share the same library.
Do my players need an account?
They can view shared plays from a link. A login gives them assigned plays and goals. Players and parents are free during 2027.
What does it cost?
Free, then Coach at $12 a month and Team at $29 a month or $129 for a season. The pricing page lists every plan and what a ClinIQ credit buys.
