High school programs
Three levels, one playbook, one set of books
For girls' and boys' programs alike. Varsity runs the set, and JV and freshman learn the same language. Your AD sees what is happening without chasing three head coaches for updates.

Who it's for
Built for every high school program, girls' and boys'
18,690 schools field boys' basketball and 18,208 field girls' (NFHS 2024–25 participation survey). Hoops ClinIQ is built for both, with the same plans and the same tools.
Girls' and boys' high school programs
In previewVarsity, JV and freshman. Pilots in spring 2027, ready for the 2027–28 season.
Middle school programs
Coming 2027School rollout is Coming 2027. Players under 13 will join through the verified parental consent step that is in the app preview today.
The week
Your week with Hoops ClinIQ
A normal in-season week for a girls' or boys' program with varsity, JV and a freshman team.
Mon
Scout and install
Ask ClinIQ what worked against Friday's opponent last time, from your own film of that game. Install the counter in the girls' playbook and send it to all three levels.
Tue
Practice plan
Build practice from the plays you are teaching. Freshman coaches copy the varsity plan and trim it.
Wed
Film and quizzes
Tag Saturday's game. Players get a short play quiz on their phones the night before the walkthrough.
Thu
Availability
Mark who is out before practice. No medical detail is stored, only available, limited or out.
Fri
Game night
Call sets from the bench in sideline mode. Parents see the schedule and any change you approve.
Sat
Review and report
Upload the film and tag what matters for Monday. Confirm or reject any tag ClinIQ suggests (beta).
Roadmap (2027)
A program view for your AD
The owner dashboard would show every team, who has access and how many ClinIQ credits are used. Org dashboards and the audit log are Coming 2027.
- Owner and director roles, with head coaches limited to their own team.
- Audit log of role, sharing and billing changes.
- Coming 2027, not in the pilot.

Consent
Consent before a player's data is shown or used
Every player under 18 is treated as a minor. No data about a player on your roster is shown or used until a parent or guardian agrees. Game film can show opponents and non-consented players; that film stays staff-only. The roster shows who has consent and who does not. Your counsel and district still decide your own FERPA process.
- Consent state visible on every player.
- Parents see only their own child.
- No medical records, ever.

Schedule
One calendar for gym time and game night
Practices, games, bus times and gym conflicts in one place. Parents get changes you have approved, not drafts.
- Attendance and RSVPs per team.
- Approval before a change goes to families.

Scouting
Scouting that fits a teacher's planning period
Upload your own film of past meetings and the scouting games your staff records, ask a question, and get an answer that opens the clip it came from.
- Every answer cites a clip, play or stat.
- You confirm before anything saves.

The US basketball year
Built around your season
High school runs through the winter, club and AAU through the spring and summer, and fall leagues in between. Pay for the months you coach.
November to March
High school season
One $129 season pass covers November through March, tryouts to the state tournament. Paying Team monthly for the same 5 months is $145.
April to July
Club and AAU season
A $129 season pass started in April runs through August: the whole spring and summer circuit, plus a month to wrap up film and study.
September and October
Fall league
Too short for a pass. Team monthly for two months is $58. Coaching all three seasons? Team yearly at $290 costs less than two passes and a fall ($316).
Pilots run during the spring and summer 2027 club season, so we are ready for the 2027–28 high school season. Many schools choose next year's tools between April and August 2027, for budgets that start July 1.
Recommended plan
A plan a booster club can approve
Most programs run three teams. The Program plan covers two and adds a third for a flat per-team price. Players and parents are free.
Program · Girls' varsity, JV and freshman
- Program plan, 2 teams
- $99/mo
- 1 more team
- +$29/mo
- 3 teams, monthly
- $128/mo
Includes 9 coach seats and 6,000 ClinIQ credits a month, pooled across teams. A smaller program with one team can start on the Team plan at $29 a month.
Common questions
What about FERPA and district data agreements?
We build for consent first: no data about a player on your roster is shown or used until a parent or guardian agrees, and parents see only their own child. A signed data processing agreement per district (SDPC National DPA) is planned, and none is signed today. Illinois districts need a signed DPA under SOPPA. Ask your counsel to review before rollout. Our Trust page lists what we store.
Can freshman and JV coaches see the varsity playbook?
Only if you share it. Head coaches control their own team's playbook, and directors can see across teams.
What if our booster club pays?
The owner can be anyone you choose, such as the AD or a booster treasurer. Coaches do not need to hold the billing login. Booster-club card payment is planned, and a quote PDF is in the app preview.
What happens at the end of the pilot?
You choose a plan or drop to Free and keep your plays. AI and film turn off on Free.
