For athletic directors
Every basketball team on one plan.
Hoops ClinIQ covers basketball: film you record, playbook, player study, cited answers. Keep Hudl for football. One program account covers every basketball team, with consent and safety rules you control.
The problem
Film, plays and study that don't connect
Most programs buy film in one place and plays in another, and every coach picks their own.
Film, plays and study in different logins
Hudl holds the film. Plays sit in a drawing tool, and study material in a third place. A clip, the play it shows and the question about it do not connect.
Prices that depend on the team
Play tools are priced per team, so every new team repeats the bill. FastDraw has no public price at all.
Coaches who each pick their own
When every coach buys a tool, the program owns nothing. Plays and film leave with the coach.
Consent and safety
Rules that protect players, set by the program
The same rules apply to every team, so safety does not depend on which coach set it up.
Consent-pending players show no stats
A player whose guardian hasn't consented appears with name, number and position only. No stats and no study data, on the roster, in film, in insights or in an export.
Chat with minors: Coming 2027
Needs parental consent and moderation before launch. Until then there is no team chat that includes minors.
Children's privacy, with counsel
Players under 13 join through a verified parental consent step: the guardian signs a consent form and enters a one-time code. In preview (consent flow). A $0.50 card check is Coming 2027. We are designing for the amended COPPA Rule with counsel. No ads, no medical records, and no face or gait recognition: players are identified by jersey number and the roster you confirm.
Signed DPA per district: planned
Many states have student-data privacy laws (130+ in 41 states, per FPF). We plan to sign the SDPC National DPA and state addenda, starting with Illinois (SOPPA). No DPA is signed today. Illinois districts need a signed DPA under SOPPA, and your counsel decides your own FERPA process. Source: Future of Privacy Forum on state student-privacy laws.
Accessibility: why it matters to districts
Designed toward WCAG 2.1 AA; not yet audited. VPAT planned before district sales. The DOJ's ADA Title II rule sets web and app accessibility dates for public entities, including school districts: April 26, 2027 for larger ones and April 26, 2028 for smaller ones. That is why districts ask vendors about accessibility. This is context, not a compliance claim. Source: Reed Smith on the DOJ Title II accessibility dates.

Cost of the combined stack
What your program pays now, and what the two together cost
Hoops ClinIQ covers basketball: film you record, playbook, player study, cited answers. Keep Hudl for football. Prices as of Oct 2026. Pick how many teams you run and what you pay today.
Estimate, not a quote
- Hudl plan you keep, per year
- $1,500
- Hoops ClinIQ Program plan, per year, 6 teams
- $2,150
- Combined stack, per year
- $3,650
Today you pay about $2,400 a year for Hudl plus the overlapping tools you listed. Those tools are the part Hoops ClinIQ can stand in for; you decide when to drop them.
Program is $990 a year for 2 teams, plus $290 for each extra team.
How we count
- Hudl high school Silver+, $1,500 per program as listed on hudl.com (Oct 2026); other tiers exist. Pick the tier your school pays above. Your quote can differ.
- The school keeps its Hudl plan in both columns. We do not count Hudl as a cost you drop.
- FastDraw has no public price today. We use its last public price, $149.99 a year, and assume one license per team. It is the playbook tool Hoops ClinIQ overlaps.
- Quiz or study tools are whatever you pay now. Enter that yearly total if you would stop using one.
- The combined stack leaves out cameras, team-admin apps and payment fees. You can keep your team app with Hoops ClinIQ.
- Hoops ClinIQ is the Program plan billed yearly: two teams included, then a yearly price for each extra team.
- Hudl's film depth, cameras and football tools go further than ours today. This adds up what each costs, not what each does.

Common questions
What does Hoops ClinIQ cost for a school with several teams?
The Program plan is $99 a month or $990 a year for 2 teams, plus $290 a year for each team beyond 2. Players and parents are free during 2027.
Can we pay by purchase order?
Planned. Purchase orders, a W-9 on request, July 1 fiscal-year billing, booster-club card payment and a sole-source letter are planned. A quote PDF and a net-30 invoice are in the app preview as samples; nothing is billed yet.
What about FERPA and our district's data agreement?
We build for consent first: no data about a player on your roster is shown or used until a parent or guardian agrees, and parents see only their own child. Many states have student-data privacy laws (130+ in 41 states, per FPF). We plan to sign the SDPC National DPA and state addenda, starting with Illinois (SOPPA). No DPA is signed today. Ask your counsel to review before rollout.
Does this replace Hudl?
No. Hoops ClinIQ covers basketball: film you record, playbook, player study and cited answers. Keep Hudl for football. There is no import or sync between them.
Your next game plan starts with your own film.
We load your plays and tag one of your games by hand. Your staff and players use ClinIQ and quizzes for four weeks. Or start with the free play library: no account.
